Do you enjoy snacking? I know I do. Snacking is like my guilty pleasure. We all know that now days many snacks on the
market are not good for us. They contain
all type of horrible ingredients, but tastes so good. I have tried to eat healthier snacks in the
past, but I did not like them. To be honest, they were
lacking flavor and flat out disgusting. Today I will be reviewing the Nibblr snack
box and giving you my honest opinion about it.
I know you all are reading this wondering what exactly is Nibblr. The Nibblr is a subscription snack box that
includes four prepackaged snacks. Each
snack comes sealed in its own portable container that you can take with you on
the go. You can choose to get a box weekly, bi-weekly,
or monthly. You have an option to order
a single box for just $6.99 or choose to pay for multiple boxes at a time. Now he’s the good part, shipping is free and
you may cancel at any time. Sounds great
right?
Now let’s get to the review. When I first heard about the Nibblr box, I
thought it would be like many healthier snacks that I’ve tried in the past. I was also a little skeptical about receiving
snacks through the mail because I didn’t think they would be fresh or
tasty. However, to my surprise, the box
that I received exceeded my expectations.
I received my first box in the mail about a week ago and fell in love. The box was properly sealed, snacks were fresh,
and the presentation was excellent. The
only thing I didn’t like about the box is not having the option to select the
snacks that I wanted. They select the
snacks for you and give you an option to rate each snack. All snacks are rated ‘INTERESTED’ when you
start your subscription. Depending on
your taste, you can change them to ‘LOVE IT’, ‘LIKE IT’, or ‘NO THANKS.’ The snacks that you rate as ‘LOVE IT’ will be sent
most frequently, and they will not send those rated as ‘NO THANKS. This could be a good thing for those who like
surprises.
My box included: Fallen Snowman, Nice & Naughty, Fa-La-La
Licious, and Caramel Joy.
FALLEN SNOWMAN: Peppermint coated pretzel pearls and dark chocolate peppermint snack mix.
What a refreshing snack! If you love peppermint and chocolate, then
this snack is for you! The peppermint
pretzel pearls were delightful and provided a crunch in every bite. There was
just the right amount of peppermint on each pearl and you could you just pop
them in your mouth. I love the
smoothness of the dark chocolate and it was rich in taste. Normally, I am not a fan of dark chocolate
because of the bitterness, but it was awesome.
However, I do wish that there were more dark chocolate pieces in the
container. I would definitely eat this
snack again.
NICE & NAUGHTY: Sea salt caramel truffles and hazelnuts snack
mix.
Now this was my favorite snack of them
all. I was skeptical about this
combination at first; as I didn't know how well mixing these two would be. Turns out, I really really enjoy it. It had the right amount of sweetness to
satisfy your sweet tooth. This was my
first time trying hazelnuts and I discovered that I love them. This snack truly fits its description of
being a "feel good sweet".
Hopefully they will include this snack in my future boxes.
FA-LA-LA-LICIOUS: cranberries, almonds, and pistachios snack
mix.
Sweet and salty all in one. I would consider this snack for those that
enjoy fruit and nut combinations. I
would have liked to see the cranberries, almonds, and pistachios equally
divided in this mix. There was about
three pistachios, eight almonds, and tons of cranberries. The cranberries were very sweet and was a
little overpowering. I'm not a huge fan
of almonds, but these were okay. They
were actually much better than other brands I've previously tasted. On the other hand, the pistachios were lightly
salted and yummy. I really wished it
contained more because those are my favorite.
I'm not saying that I totally hated this snack, but it was my least
favorite. Would I like to receive this
one again? Maybe, it all depends on what
my taste buds will want.
CARAMEL JOY: caramels
Chewy, sweet, and dense are the words to
describe this candy. I have been eating
caramel candy since my younger days, but I have never tasted caramel this
superb. These were melt in your mouth
wonderful. They were very smooth in texture and rich in taste. I would consider this more of a dessert than
a snack because of the sweetness. Also,
the candy wasn't as thick as other brands of caramel candy. Umm, umm good!
All in All, my first Nibblr snack box was awesome. I could tell that the box was packaged with
love and care. This box really change
the way I view other snacks that are on the market. Even though there are a couple things that I
would like to see done better; I was still satisfied. The snacks were yummy and convenient. I am so happy that I found this company and
will be purchasing more snack boxes from them.
